The Grandkidsandme
Foundation is on the move to support families by increasing the
awareness of the benefits and the value of intergenerational
relationships.
This summer, teams
of grandparents and grandchildren will commit to raise money through
pledges per mile. They will be walking, riding bikes,
swimming, keeping fit and staying healthy together.
What Grandkidsandme has accomplished over the past 8
years.

We
have held 13 Grandparent Weekend Camps and 28 Grandkid Days for
grandparents and their grandchildren
-
Authored a book in 2003 on the importance and the changing role of
grandparent’s in the family, "The New Face of Grandparenting"
-
Spoken
to parents, grandparents, businesses and educational organizations
on the importance and life long value of intergenerational
relationships.

We
publish a monthly online newsletter entitled, "The Gathering", that
is distributed to more than 1500 families.
-
The
Grandkidsandme story has been told in more than twenty-four
magazines and newspaper articles.
-
We continue to
educate grandparents and parents on how they can work together to
support the family. All generations must come together for the
benefit of our children.
Your sponsorship will assist us in
our plans for 2009;

Defray the
costs for grandchildren to participate in our “Grandparent Camp"
that would otherwise not be able to attend

Support Educational Outreach
activities which support and build intergenerational
relationships

Support the 2009 Minnesota
Grandparent Awards Program
All proceeds
will go to help promote and strengthen intergenerational relationships
through Grandkidsandme programs.

$500.00 you will have your logo stenciled on every T-shirt.

Our $500.00
sponsors will be included on our website and in the "Gathering
Newsletter" distributed to more than 1500 families each month.

Your company name
and logo will appear on all advertising including banners.

Your company will
receive a free space to promote your business at our day of
celebration at Midway Stadium in St. Paul, MN on September 13, 2008.
