Ten absolutes of grandparenting

1. Support your grandchildren’s dreams and
love them unconditionally.

2. Treat your children and grandchildren with respect.

3. Communicate honestly and expect the same in return.

4. Participate in the lives of your grandchildren.

5. Know that it’s what you do, not what you say,
that counts most.

6. Let your grandchildren know who you are.

7. Be available to listen and listen carefully.

8. Be patient, let children be children.

9. Speak positively and support your grandchildrens’
parents.

10. Live your life as an example for your children
and grandchildren and tell them often that you love
them.
